Drake-Williams Steel is currently owned and operated by fourth generation members of the Williams family. Since 1882 we have served the construction industry with distinction and are the fabricator of choice for many Midwestern contractors, business owners and real estate developers.

Company Profile

Drake-Williams furnishes fabricated structural steel, stair systems and miscellaneous fabricated steel, steel joist/deck, and fabricated concrete reinforcing steel, for all types of building projects. Our ample facilities, modern equipment, and experienced people ensure a successful project, furnished to customer specifications and delivered on time. Drake-Williams also provides contract manufacturing services involving the fabrication of diverse steel components and assemblies for incorporation into customer products and facilities.

Additionally, our Steel Service Center furnishes stock sized and processed steel to customers in our local geographical area. Our Service Center customers receive Immediate attention to their needs, including quick order turnaround and delivery. Drake-Williams is certified by the AISC ("American Institute of Steel Construction") Quality Certification Program.

We are audited annually to certify the ability of our personnel, organization, experience, capability and commitment to produce fabricated structural steel as set forth in the AISC Quality Certification Program. In addition, all of our welders are certified to the American Welding Society's structural welding code.
